All Club Members are warmly invited to join in this Club Sailing Day.
These days provide the opportunity for members to get together for a day’s social cruising in company, and this year we are looking to incorporate skipper skills refreshers as part of the trip.
We will take a trip down the Wallet, pausing off Clacton to practise heaving to. This is a very useful technique, particularly in challenging conditions, if things are getting a bit hectic and everyone wants to take a breather – or just put the kettle on!
Places will be found with volunteer skippers for non-boat owners and Crew Pool wanting to participate. Please note, as spaces may be limited, allocation of places will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
We will meet at 09:30 at Shotley and expect to be tidied away by 17:00. Final details for the day will be provided a few days before.
