Deben Cruise inc The Rocks, Woodbridge and Ramsholt,

Join SPYC for this delightful cruise up the Deben, This event has been designed for you to dip in and out of as you like, or spend 5 days lazing about on the river Deben

We start at the Rocks, an area just short of Walderingfield where we drop anchor for the night and swim to a sandy shore if you’re brave enough? Or take the rib around the bend to the Mulberry Bush Pub.

On toWoodbridge’s Tidemill Marina where we will join the weekend members. We anticipate a BBQ at this point in our trip, with drinks and nibbles. This quaint market town offers many eateries and lots of shops to look around. Visit the last remaining Tide Mill in the country or simply enjoy the scenery of traditional boat yards and house boats along the quayside.

Sunday sees us picking up a mooring at Walderingfield for the night.

Monday we move closer to home and pick up a mooring at Ramsholt.

The Deben is arguably one of the prettiest rivers in Britain, and this trip offers you the chance to unwind for 5 days whether you sail up and down the river, swim, explore the creeks in your rib or just sit and read the paper, this trip has it. Don’t forget you don’t have to do it all, dip in and out where life permits.
