We warmly welcome boat owners and non-boat owners.
Annual Membership is open to individual adults aged 18 or over. For boat-owners, Membership can also include a partner, or 1 additional joint-owner of a shared boat. The Membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December each year. (New members who join in the last 3 months of the year are eligible for one free annual renewal. ie. effectively receiving up to 15 months membership for their initial membership payment).
Current Joining Membership: £67 for the first year, which includes an SPYC pennant. (£52 if a pennant is not required)
Current Renewing Membership: £52 pa

Payment & Registration (1st Member of the family or 1st Member of a boat-share)
Our preferred method of payment is via credit or debit card using one of the Stripe payment buttons below. Once payment is received, you will be re-directed to a "Thank You" page which confirms successful receipt of payment. It also provides a registration link inviting you to set up your user profile and create a login password. Once you have filled in your profile information and pressed the "submit" button, you can then log in to the website with full access to all the "Member Only" pages. We encourage members to create as full a user profile as possible (as this can be useful to other members and particularly to club event organisers), but only a handful of fields are mandatory. Once you are logged in, you can edit and update your user profile at any time to provide more detail or make any necessary changes.
(If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, please complete our Membership Request Form and our Membership Secretary will then get in touch to arrange this. This is a manual process so it may take a few days to complete your website registration and gain full Member access to the website).
Registration (additional family member or additional shared-boat owner)
If you wish to register an additional family member or a boat co-owner, please use the website Contact Form to request this. We will then reply (usually within 24 hours) by emailing you a non-advertised webpage address which you can share with your affiliate, enabling them to register personally to gain immediate full access to the website. No further payment will be required, but the affiliate member must complete the same registration form as the first member, to include their own personal confirmation of acceptance of the Club's data privacy policy. (Please note that user profiles for additional members will identify them as Affiliate Members. This is purely for administrative convenience and does not imply a different class of membership. All Members have the same full membership status).
