Unfortunately the trip to Chatham this year has been cancelled.

The trip will be planned again for 2022; it provides interesting opportunities to practice passage planning, navigation, and pilotage skills in negotiating the Thames estuary and the Medway.
Chatham and the surrounding area is steeped in maritime history, and there is plenty to see and do, including:
- Chatham Historic Dockyard and Rope Walk
- Lifeboat Museum
- Royal Engineers Museum, Gillingham
- Rochester Castle, Cathedral, Guildhall Museum, Huguenot Museum
- Historic Rochester High Street
- Upnor Castle
- Fort Amherst
