Burnham is a lovely day cruise, crossing the Spitway and then the river sail down the Crouch. This trip is slightly challenging especially around the entrance to the crouch.
As Burnham Marina is our sister marina there is no cost to berthing there. Burnham is a quaint venue with lots of places to eat and walk. For the more enthusiastic sailor a sail further up the Crouch is interesting although mooring becomes more challenging if you wish to stop for lunch.
This event is on the same weekend as the Burnham Carnival so there will be lots of street stalls and entertainment. Booking for meals will be more challenging so book early to avoid disappointment.
